Sat22Jul20238:30 ambetween Chick Filet and Home Depot just south of the intersection of Harrodsburg Road and Lane Allen Road. The meeting time is 8:30 amJay Zwishenberger and Grant Baker have done a great job planning a beautiful summer drive for the club to take this Saturday. This drive will begin in Lexington and take us over 67 miles of scenic country roads in Fayette, Woodford, Franklin and Scott counties. There will be a rest stop at Millville in Woodford County after 32 miles with an opportunity for restrooms, a chance to stretch your legs and get drinks or snacks. The drive will end in Georgetown where we will all have lunch at an authentic Irish Pub, the Slainte Public House.
Peter Szekeres, who joined SBMS a month ago who is an excellent videographer. In fact Peter has a YouTube Channel where he posts a video weekly, with most of them being car related. Peter made a video of the club drive.
Peter in his Chrysler and Grant in his Ford Model A drive to meet the other SBMS club members who were meeting in a parking lot off Harrodsburg Road to start the July club drive. For the rest of the video you will see the cars and people who participated, beautiful scenery during the drive and a special treat at the end of the drive where you get to watch and listen to our own Jay Zwischenberger play his harmonica with a 3 piece band entertaining the club members

They planned a rest stop midway through the drive in Versailles at the Bluegrass Scenic Railroad and Museum where there was the opportunity to stretch your legs and browse through the exhibits.
The second half of the drive will end in Midway, KY where Scott and Jeb have arranged for the club to have lunch at The Brown Barrel Restaurant.
